How do you turn off the sound when dialing a phone #?

I thought it was "keytones" in options, but that isn't it. I turned keytones on and there is another beep on top of the regular one....

When the profile is on vibrate it doesn't do it...

Key Tone is silenced only in the Vibrate and Quiet Profiles. Can not be silenced in the others.

Actually you can. I just fiddled with it today. Let me see where I found it and I'll post back.

EDIT: What I actually found was key tone that adds an additional tone to each button press
    Options>Screen/Keyboard>Key Tone

This does not do what you want it to do. GG is correct. I guess you could always modify one of those profiles so it fits your needs.

You guys are lucky that you get silence with the Vibrate and Quiet profiles. On my 8310, nothing works to silence the key tones with dialing a #

    Why RIM? Why??

That doesn't turn off the dialing sounds when dialing a phone number. On 4.3 devices the silent and vibrate profiles will disable this sound.
