im a new bb user, i just got a bb pearl 8100, love it.
but i have one problem, i have a bmw 335i, i can connect the phone to the car but it wont upload the contacts. i can recieve phone calls fine but i cant use the car or its voice dailing to make call using contacts. i have to dail the numbers or use the phone to dail it and talk thru the car's bt. i have a htc advantage and it works fine with my car. i saw on the bmw forums, some ppl had the similar problem with some nokia phones, some of them upgraded their phone to newer firmware and they worked. i have v4.2.1.107, if i upgrade it and will it b fixed?? does anyone know anything about this? help please. thank you!
If the phonebook is saved to your SIM card then the vehicles bluetooth may not recognize it. Your contacts may need to be saved to the phone's internal memory. This information was mentioned on another web site.
