Pulled the battery and put it back in and now I have a picture of a battery with a red slash through it. My BB is only 3 days old! Is my battery bad already?

This thing is driving me NUTS!

I think that just means that you ran the battery completely dead - when did you last charge it? I would charge it every night if possible

Gosh.... that phone is not acting right... gotta be a conflict with the OS you installed.. Is your 8100 a T-MO phone? You might have to go back to the carrier recommended OS for your phone to get it working right.

It is an unlocked BB. I have a 8310 that is my work phone. I switched batteries from these 2 BBs, and even though they aren't exactly the same, they do fit. My 8100 booted up just fine and my 8310 showed the same battery picture with red line through it.

I think it is something with the battery. I'm going to try and find one today locally and see where that gets me.
