My Pearl 8100's backlight stays on all of the time while charging. I went into the theme or whatever and changed the backlight timing to 45seconds but it still stays on solid while on the charger. I'd have to guess that with the backlight on while its on the charger, its got to increase the charging time....

Is there a trick to making the backlight turn off while on the wall Charger?

So what does this mean to me?

Do I need to upgrade my OS? This is very annoying, especially since the phone is on my bedstand, right next to me and the lights are keeping me awake at night when I charge it. I turned it upside down and it still annoyed me.....
