    I successfully updated to 4.5 on my Verizon 8130.

    I then attempted to ugrade the desktop software on my Vista OS laptopto 4.5from verizon's site and it starts ok until I plug the phone in.

    Now I plug the phone in I get:

    "Applcation loader Wizard requires
    Blackberry Device Manager to be installed
    "Contact customer support"

    It then locks up while searching for an update.

    Suggestions anyone?

    Go to the BlackBerry website and download Desktop Manager 4.5

    Had to to uninstall previous insallation
    & associated registry entries.
