    i have a minor problem with my 8120 pearl. when i have my bluetooth headset connected, i have a different ringtone ringing on my headset than on my handset. how do i correct this?

    I do not use bluetooth but try this. Go into your profiles and hit the advanced button. Should give you the option there to change this. Good luck.

    I don't think you can change that. The same thing happens with my Motorola Bluetooth car speakerphone.

    Mine is the same different tone on bluetooth then on my 8120. My hubby has the same bluetooth but a nokia phone and hears his assigned tones on his no clue how to change it on the 8120 would love to know.

    I think it depends on the headset brand. I have two different Jabra models, and they both have the same ringtone. Even when they are used with a different phone, it is the same tone.

    you cannot correct this. Your phone will ring the normal ringtone, and the headset will ring the standard default tone it has. This deals with the OS.

    A nokia phone when connected to the headset is able to ring the ringtone in the headset as it is playing on the phone it self. Thats Symbian, the OS it is running. For some reason BB OS does not include this.
