Today I experienced a new problem on my phone. I had my alarm set for 8:00 am this morning, only to either not wake up to it or have it never actually go off. However, that was not the problem.

When I finally woke up on my own, I noticed my KickStart was displaying the missed alarm on my external display. I looked to every option I could think of, and still could not get that message off my external display. Finally, I reset my BlackBerry, only to find the alarm notification was still there when it booted back up. Finally, I reset the alarm itself to go off in a minute. After it did so, I dismissed the alarm and my external display returned to normal.

I just thought other 8220 users should be aware of this possible software bug.
