They don't have to know that. Just claim the perspective that you woke up and found it with a white screen and hour glass.
thats what really happened tho it just produced the white screen with the hour glass.... i did nothing to cause it.
neither did i with my first blackberry they replaced with the exact same symptoms!!
soo if your sure that the red line thru the battery is normal and doesnt indicate water damage then they should replace it as well...
