I know how to change from one profile to the next; what I don't know is how to tell if I need to! I can find no visual cue to tell me which profile is active, and I'm too old to remember which one I activated already.

I want to avoid setting my Pearl to vibrate, only to discover that it was already on vibrate and therefore making the thing beep, which is what I was trying to avoid in the first place!

Is there any way to tell which profile is active from the main screen?

Yes if you are using certain themes, for example the Zen Theme will have a speaker in the top right corner with 3 lines going threw it for vib.

Some themes don't show the profiles icon. Like the verizon one.
