I would just like to say I've been reading these forums for a while and they have been very helpful. Thank you to everyone.

Does anyone know when you have the 8130 in standby mode, then the time comes for the auto off feature, when it comes back on does it return to standby or is it just in the normal mode?

Honestly, I do not know the answer because my Berry is always in my charging pod at night and I am asleep when it automatically turns off and back on...

I'm not sure about standby mode, but when my BB comes back on after auto off it is in the same configuration as when it turned off, which for me is often with the keyboard locked. I would guess in your case it would come back on in standby mode. Give it a try and let us know what happens.

I believe it's in standby mode. But mine is always in the OEM pouch, so I could be wrong.

what it does is the phone turns on and then the screen immediately goes black, appearing to be in standy. But one push of any button and its back on, therefore not in standby.
