I've got a hands free bluetooth system built into my new 2008 Lancer. I'm very satisfied with my new BB other then this one GLARING issue:

I used to own an LG VX8300 and paired it with my car. When I turn the car on, the bluetooth kicks in and good to go.

Now with the BB 8130 I have everything paired correctly, except for when I turn on my car my BB will not automatically pick up my bluetooth connection and if I want to use my HFS then I need to take my BB out and manually connect the 2 devices.

Essentially, is there anyway I can make it so I sit down, turn my car on, and have the devices pair automatically? Am I missing something?

I have mine pair with my Garmin, and it does so automatically.

I take it you have the Bluetooth enabled.
Also check this...go to Bluetooth>Menu>Options is discoverable set to yes?

Yessir, that's all set already. I also browsed the forums extensively to see if anyone else had an issue and I read up on some of the firmware issues with Bluetooth, so I'm pretty aware of all the bluetooth discrepancies and such.

    Ok I tried!
One avenue... try searching a Lancer site to see if there is any info in regards to pairing a BB. Worth a shot.
This could be a car device issue and not a BB issue.

Yeah I've been looking for others with my problem, it's hard finding 2 people with the exact same taste in new expensive things, heh.

It just boggles me because it worked fine with my LG phone.

Check your BlackBerry, make sure it has the latest OS on it. If not, update it, then try the pairing again..

Ps: Photos of the car, etc, would be nice - LOL

Check the bluetooth device properties and confirm that "Trusted" equals "Yes"
