    Hi All,

I am hoping someone can gives me a bit of help! I have an 8120 that is in a built in cradle in my car and links to the audio system via bluetooth, this all works great. According to the audio system manual the 8120 should be able to have ignition detection enabled so it switches on or off automatically. Has anyone else seen or know where this can be configured?

I have found the Auto On/Off but can't see anything else relating to this.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Andy

There is not an ignition switch detection capability built into any BlackBerry that I'm aware of. If you have an accessory power outlet that is switched by the ignition, you can possibly use that. If you plug the BlackBerry into that outlet, the BlackBerry will detect that it is on external power when the ignition switch is ON. There may be a 3rd party app that is able to use the external power signal to turn the BlackBerry on or off. Two apps to consider are BBLight and Leave It On.
