For install instruction to load any carrier 8300 OS on your BB:

1. Download desired OS to your PC
2. Install/run OS to PC
3. Delete vendor.xml file. It's located in c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader if the OS is not from your carrier.
4. Connect BB to Desktop Manager and it should prompt the upgrade. If not click app loader and that should initialize it.
5. Do not unplug BB during the process. It will take around 30-60 minutes to complete upgrade.

and right you dont have to delete the vendor file if you hace AT&T

I agree with the improved navigation speeds. It has less hang time and I have been seeing the hour glass less lately. So far so good. I would recommend this upgrade to anyone with a Pearl.

Idk if this was on 102 but I kind of like it, under secutrity options you can have the option to enter your password when installing applications.

upgrd to .110 and it seems to have dropped my BES & BIS email. I have resent the service books for the BIS with no change. Anyone else dealing with this?
