Are pearl owners gonna get a 5.0 os or will it just be the newer blackberries that get it? Or is this information still top secret?

Don't know if its true but I heard all the 8xxx series bb's and up are getting the 5.0 update

I don't see one for the pearl but if you update your OS to .131 or higher, you will be able to download the Curve 83XX version.

I did, and it works great!

Go to StormOTA on your phone's browser and click the OTA link for the BBM 5.0 for Curve.

When downloading a box will pop up stating you already have a certain file and it needs to be overwritten to download 5.0. Just click yes.

Remember, make sure it's the Curve version! Otherwise, it won't work!

ya. I already got bbm 5.0 up and running on my pearl and its sweet. I was wondering about the whole os.

I have read (somewhere )on cb here that the pearl will not get it, but I'm hoping that was premature..and maybe RIM will have pity on us.
I know its not the fanciest bb, but it is the smallest, and still VERY common...

i think everything AFTER the 83xx series will get it but no others so definitely not the Pearl if im correct.
