I just got a 4GB microSD HC card for my Pearl- from what I've read here, it seems like it should work, however, when I put it initially, I got an error message- "media card has errors, run through disc utility on PC"- I tried formatting anyway and message in media said there is something wrong with your disc. Should I return it or am I doing something wrong? I'm soo sad

I am extremely confused what you are trying to tell the OP to do

First, if you have a PC card reader you should insert your microSD and format the card on your PC

Then I would re-install the microSD card. Once in your device, it should automatically recognize.

Finally, format with the BlackBerry and you are all set to go!

And if that doesn't work exchange it for a new one and tell them that one is faulty. I had done that same thing 2 months ago with a 4gig.

Thanks! I'm returning it. FYI- I was trying to install it in my BB- the BB was telling me to insert it into my PC and use the disc utility to clear the errors.
