I was wondering if there is a addon chip that would allow me to have 3g speeds instead of EDGE on my pearl 8100, im paying for 3g speeds but rolling at 130 kbs, from what i understand if i had the proper hardware i could achieve much greater speeds.

is there a minu usb donge, or a micro SD chip i can use which wil convert the 3g signal to its full potential?

Verizon and Sprint BB are EVDO capable. Just as fast as 3G with even better coverage. I was on ATT and moved to verizon. It's way better on this side.
