ok, Someone told me that on the Curve you can make the led indicator light flash different colours when someone calls almost like the colour pearl.. anyway i was wondering if this actually works and can it be done with the pearl?
second.. the password keeper, is that only for internet sites or can you put a password for when you exit standby mode?

There is an app available for the Pearl (8100) that will change the color of the trackball. I don't think the led color changes work on the 8100 but I've not tried it. Do a google search for "Pimp my Pearl."
The password keeper is for whatever you want to keep in there. I have credit card numbers, account numbers, passwords, etc. in mine.
