Just today i updated my pearl 8120 to a 4.5.0.124. when i got to youtube with my browser and click a video and then start stream, it goes into the media player and then it just stays there with "loading..." in the top right. any reason why?

A lot of people have problems after updating, but usually the old standard battery pull will solve it. Mine would play, but no sound.
Just checked from my PC, and it's running fine from here.

Don't have wi-fi myself, but did a search and came up empty. What are your browser settings? I should be able to help you get it going on there.

Browser configuration is what you want. Try setting it like this:

Also, you might want to go into your cache options and clear your content cache. Once you select it just hit back and the memory clean will start. If pushed content is much you can clear that too. Don't clear your cookies, they're small, and you'll just have to log onto all your password sites again.

    Don't thank me so fast
Try a battery pull, now that you've changed your settings. Pray to the BB gods, and maybe they'll answer.

I set my browser options the way you have posted. I'm running .131 (most current available from Blackberry.com) and once the file is loaded from m.youtube.com then it says "unable to play file, media is an unsupported type" or something like that... help?

Just checked myself. First time I got a load problem, second I got the vid. These are 4.5 version os, aren't they? I would expect an 8120 and 8130 to work at least as well as my 8100.

yep, got a data plan, double checked my settings, saved them. Did a physical batt pull (not quickpull), tried again...

    and...

same thing, media type is unrecognized or wrong type (I forget the exact wording of the error message).... next step?
