It says under the database sizes that I have 2500 sms messages which takes up almost 600 kb, but i only have around 100 sms messages. How can I delete them? Even after deleting my 100 messages, it says i still have 2400 left. The same happens with my emails. Its taking up space but they aren't even there, how can I fix this?

Have you done a warm or hard reset since you have deleted the messages?

If so, you can clear them this way:

Connect to the DM > Backup/Restore > Advanced > Device Databases > select the message log > Clear

Have you checked that your "outgoing" messages aren't being counted?

I did a search for sms mesages on my phone and found them all. They were from my old back up I did when I switched devices. What's weird is they only showed up when I did a search, but not in the main sms folder.
