Hi-my bb will connect on one of my computers with the usb cable, but on my lap top I try to connect and when I plug the usb in, it dosen't recongnize it. (on either of the usb ports) are my usb ports on the laptop bad? Thanks for the help!

Does it show a charging symbol on the BB when plugged in?

Do you have Desktop Manager loaded to your laptop? You must, in order to have the USB drives loaded which give it the additional charging power.

Do you have bluetooth enabled? sometimes that can conflict with the usb connection to the computer.

Does it ask you for disk mode when you plug it in?

try pulling the battery.. fixes like 75% of problems
