    After my phone took a tumble today it sent the silver ring and trackball flying out. No biggie I thought as I have taken apart that area before to clean the trackball.

    Upon trying to put it back together the silver ring will not fully go down no matter what I do. It always feels like one side is sticking up (the right side).

    Any ideas?

    It is just supposed to snap back in, which makes no sense.

    Probably one of the metal tabs on the ring that holds the trackball together has bent.
