ok, so im surfing the web and everything is fine...most pages seem to work...i went to one of my sites...the homepage downloads...it asks for login info and password to get into the site...so i enter it...when i try to login i get the following message

"either your session has timed out, you entered an invalid page directly, or "cookies" are not turned on in your browser. First try and login again and if you receive this message again, follow the directions below to activate "cookies" in your browser..."

i tried entering the info again and i just keep gettin the same message..when it says down below it just tells you how to activate cookies on IE or netscape...but how do i do this on the bb?

anyone know how t odeal w this or had this issue? thanks

From your BB Browse press menu and then options. Then select cache operations. Clear everything there. If it still doesn't work, try a battery pull. If that doesn't work, download Opera Mini.

i tried clearing the cache, ive only been to 3 websites so the cache was pretty clean, tried the battery pull, still no luck...are some sites just not capable to be browsed on the bb browser?

its weird bc it lets me go to the sites homepage its just when i enter a login info and login it doesnt go...


is mini opera faster/slower then the bb browser?

Opera Mini is generally better at rendering web pages. You can also try enable javascript and see if that helps. Again from the bb browser go to options then browser config. Check the box to enable javascript.

ok i downloaded opera mini...i can still get to the homepage of the site i was trying to access, just like w the bb browser...i login and it doesnt login it just goes back to the homepage...i contacted the site and they told me their site works with windows mobile and IE for windows mobile? do i have to download these? thanks

What web site are you trying to access? It sounds like the people running the site aren't very smart. Windows Mobile is an OS that runs on some smart phones that is quite unstable compared to a BB. Are you sure you are entering your user/pass correctly? Usually passwords are case sensitive and when you enter a password your BB may be capitalizing the first letter.

hey..its actually a sportsbook/casino site...(www.5dimes.***) it wont let me post urls so maybe thatll get posted so u know what site im talkin about

5Dimes Sportsbook - Casino - Racebook - Poker Room - Lottery Room and i can view their homepage just fine...using either the bb browser or operamini....however when i enter my username/password and click login..on the bb browser it tells me "either your session timed out, you have entered an invalid page, or you need to activate cookies"...when i try using operamini and click login it just brings me back to the homepage a the login/password box and my info filled in but doesnt load my account

any ideas?

also why download operamini if the bb has the bb browser already? is there an advantage?
