Currently I'm using Yahoo! Go on my BlackBerry 8100 Pearl, I was wondering what other ones you guys are using. I'm trying to find that is user friendly and a good all round browser. Thank you!

For news, sports, and quick searches, I use the BlackBerry browser. For everything else, Opera Mini.

Amen! the BB browser may have everything listed one after the other, kinda annoying, but Opera takes FOREVER

what is Opera? Is it loaded on the BB, or is it something I must load.

I am having issues viewing most home pages, sometime I get the whole screen, text along with images and all, but most of the time only text.

Ok, I went to operamini.com, opera mini 4 says that my phone model could not be detected. Are you guys running an old version?

I think it said that for me. There should be a link to download it without detection. Or have you already got it on the device? If it's already on the device then I don't know...

It's not on the device. It's a free application. I'm running Opera Mini 4 and it works well. However, for downloading apps to your device you still must use the BB browser. I do not find OM4 to be slow most of the time but if I'm in an area with less than full signal, the BB browser does work better.

I'm using the BB browser (4.3) which works really well for me. Opera Mini's slower.

I just got a brand new 8130 Pearl, and I am really confused. I am trying to get the browser to look up websites, but all I get when I click on the browser icon is a list of services and settings. There is nowhere to put in a web address. I know I am probably just ********, but does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong?

I'm using the default one. I don't browse too much. I did have the Opera Mini install, but could never figure out the big deal about it...

When in the browser hit the key with 7 dots. Then hit go to.

Sounds like its defaulting to email settings. Hit BBMenu>Close then try again.
