I have had my Verizon Pearl for over a month now and just recently started having this problem. The Pearl will NOT power on when using the end call/power button. I have to take the battery out to boot the phone on every time I power it off (with the end call/power button). The battery is fully charged and is not the problem. Is there a setting somewhere I could have mistakenly set to have the power on button disabled?? I called Verizon tech support and they only thing they could help with is sending me a new phone. The end call/power button worked fine until the last couple of days.
