All the sudden, on my 8130, when I check my phone log, there are no calls listed, either outgoing or incoming or messages. Going into the call log, hitting the menu button and choosing "missed calls" or "all calls", does nothing to change this. If I make or receive a few calls, it'll show up in the log for a short bit, but when I come back to my phone after a while, they're all gone, it's blank again. Wassup?
Sounds like you might be running out of memory, go to options -> status, and see how much "file free" memory you have. If the BB get too low on memory, it will start deleting old logs.

"file free" says 11419349..., dots go off the page, so don't know how many digits are actually in this number
"file total", under that, says 50462720..., once again, lots o' dots going off the page
