Hello all;

BRAND NEW to the site I happened along it searching around for some tech info on my spankin' new 8130 pearl.

I have been playing all types of audio files on the pearl; it ROCKS. Full on wave files, aac files, mp3 files.

I can say this: The stock headphone jack plays some pretty damn good audio. You can easily pick the difference of encoding qualities with a good set of over-the-ear headphones.

My query for some of the folks here is: Can I stream my current music on my 8130 OUT along the USB port? I'm looking to pump the digital bits into a sweet amplifier.

Will I have to buy/download some software? Anyone doing this? Am I missing a few genes and missing the obvious?

Any experience, thoughts or discussion is greatly appreciated.

Yes you can stream audio and video if choose so ... Make sure its 2.0 though

cant help you with the audio streaming.. but can say Welcome! really growing to like my pearl alot, which is funny considering i usually tire of gizmo's within.. well.. hours basically... almost ditched my ipod touch the second day, but decided to keep it lol.

I'll have to try and see which media player(s) on the phone will work.
