    Hi,

I have a BlackBerry Pearl 8120, brought from states (locked in T-Mobile). Thephone was unlocked in states so it can be used in Europe, in another network. Now, the phone is used in Romania, in Vodafone. I want to do an OS update but Vodafone does not have this phone available for sale, so no phone dedicated OS from them. What are my choices? How can I update my OS ? If I update the OS, the phone will still be unlocked?

    Thanks in advance!

This link is the latest carrier approved OS software for the 8120.

The fact that it is supported by O2 is not a problem, you can install it on any BlackBerry 8120 by removing the security file. Follow the directions included in the post.

Unlocking is a one time procedure. Once it has been unlocked, it will stay unlocked after upgrading the software.
