I searched the forums and couldn't find anything else on this. I'm sorry if this was already posted. I'm having an issue sending text messages while on a call. It happens about half the time I try to send a text while on a call. I get a big red X where the check mark usually shows up letting you know that the message was sent. Next to the red X is says "sending failed - packet error". There doesn't seem to be any reason why it happens on some calls and not on others. It happens when I have a full signal. As soon as I hang up and try to resend, it works. And if I immediately jumpt on another call, often times it works just fine. This is a problem as I'm often on long calls. It's just really weird because sometimes it allows me to send and sometimes not. Any ideas?
Try powercycling the device and removing the battery. If that doesn't fix it then call your provider and they should reprovision your text messaging for you.
