I don't know what more to do. All of my text messages keep auto deleting them selves from my BB Pearl 8130. Its not like I don't have enough room for memory and such. They will also keep if I leave the message window open. Right now I have:
Free space: 10988219 bytes
Total Mem: 50462720 bytes
Your free space seems low, do you have a memory card in your pearl? I had this issue with my pearl, when your free space is too low and you don't have a memory card, your sms and call log are deleted to get more free space, if not your pearl would get really really slow...

This happens to me all the time. I have a 4 gig media card and my texts are auto deleting. It is very frustrating. If you figure this out please let me know.

You need to keep your file free memory as high as possible. Rebooting everyday using SoftReset or QuickPull, or just pulling your battery with the device on will help. Better still, though resetting is still necessary at least once a week, upgrade. Here's the OS you need:
A memory card has nothing to do with low memory. The OP has a memory problem that is easy to identify based on the file free listed above. As long as you are storing pictures on your media card and not the phoe you should be ok as long as you are not running a lot of 3rd party apps. There are great threads on CB for memory optimization...check them out
Battery pulls only last for so long, start by checking what you have stored on your berry, remove things you don't need liek your help file...battery pull for this problem is like covering a bullet wound with a bandaid.
