    does anyone have any experience taking apart a dummy phone? I can't get the battery door off because the release button is not functional. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    I bought a dummy phone thinking I could use the housing to replace that of my existing 8130....but I'm thinking I'm the dummy.

    Try this:
    8110/8120/8130 - 3G, Samsung, HTC, Accessories Store, Sony, Acer, SonyEricsson, Apple, BlackBerry

    gotta break the door off, its glued.
    I think you might be able to reuse the faceplate, but i doubt it.
