Can you set a screensaver on the 8130 or get a free application to do so? I searched the forums and found nothing so I'm assuming no? Anyone know anything??

Screensaver for a cellphone is kind of dumb if you ask me. It would just waste the battery.

With that being said, I don't think there is.

True, a screensaver is such a drain on battery.
I didn't even realise this until couple years ago I had fishes swimming around as my screensaver and by evening my fone would be dead.

When not in use, my BB likes to sleep and no need for screen saver, it does have one, it's called a blank(black) screen

I dont know a screensaver would be neat when its docked. I havea program that leaves the light on while docked so a cool little screen saver would be neat for that only.

I've wondered the same thing about screensavers, especially since coming across the recent revamp of the blackberry.com site. They've a trio of models sporting glorious artwork on each screen.

As lovely as these screens appear, I'm left wondering, "To what purpose?"
