Has anyone else found that when their Pearl is on but not being used (i.e. the screen is black) that after pushing a key it takes up to 3-4 seconds sometimes for the screen to light up? This only started after I upgraded to 4.5.0.77...
I have lots of free memory so that can't be it. Any ideas?
Mine does that too. I don't know why & it is annoying.
The only fix (if you want to call it that) is to press the "Space-0" button whenever you want to see the screen instantly. All other buttons give the delay you are talking about.
My battery rarely ever gets below 2/3. Never below 1/2. So don't think that can be the problem in my case.
Not4no1 - thanks. I'll try that. It seems to only do it sometimes. If I've activated the screen recently it seems to come up without delay most times. If it's been inactive for awhile, that's when it can take up to 3-4 seconds to light up.
