I have the $4 a month insurance currently on my phone. The problem is that this is my second Pearl and my battery keeps draining like crazy. After a 10 minute phone call it will drop down 20%. I called Sprint and asked if the problem was covered in my insurance and they said that since it is not the actual device it is not covered (which is BS). Has anyone else had this problem with their device and how did they go about fixing it (through there carrier)? I would just buy a new battery but why should i pay for it? It's not like a caused this defect.

Just a side note: I have had the phone for a couple months now and know the ins and outs of how to save battery and always keep all my apps closed, so its not that.

This should have nothing to do with insurance, it's a warranty issue...

Generally any of the phone insurance companies have a $50 deductible. Worth it if it is the phone, not accessories.
