I just replaced the trackball on my Pearl 8130. I ordered one that specifically said OEM, because I didn't want to take a chance getting a bad product. It went in fine, and it seems ok scrolling menus and icons, but in bigger spaces, like the browser, i have to really keep pushing it to get anywhere. It feels ok, not really stiff, but thats how its acting. So I'm just wondering and hoping this is just because its new, and will wear in? I tried to adjusting sensitivity up to 90, but its not really helping. Experience? Thanks.

That's not right at all. There's no break-in period for a trackball. Get a refund, and pick one up here:

Thanks. For what I paid for it, it probably would have been more of a hassle to send it back. I gave it a few days and no difference. So instead, I just ended up taking off the metal piece (which is the part i had broken) from the new one, and using that with all the other parts from the old one. Now it works great again. So I recommend to anybody who sees this thread, don't buy this product "BlackBerry Trackball Pearl Curve 8100 8110 8120 8130 8300 8310 8320
    8330 8800 8810 8820 NEW OEM" from Amazon.

I'm not trying to disrespect our host but Verizon (at least around here) changes trackballs free of charge. In fact I stopped in Friday night and got 3 free ones and I told them before hand that I'm a Sprint customer and offered to pay.

Are you sure it's in properly? Search youtube for a video.
