    Hi there,

I am a new Blackberry owner and I have a really ******** question, but please bear with me.
I want to turn the answer when taking it out of the holster option off and I've heard how to turn it off through Phone-General options- so on and so forth...
    My problem is...
    Where is the Phone menu?
I'm sorry but I'm a true moron when it comes to basic stuff.

    Thank you kindly in advance!

Thank you so much. I feel like an *****, but I guess everyone has to learn!
I am in love with my new BB, slowly learning how to work it.
    This place is great too!

    Thanks again!

I am also with Bell and have the BlackBerry Pearl. I was lucky enough to be given the phone for free as long as I renewed my contract for 3 years and got a minumum $15.00 data plan. How did it work for you?

I can honestly say, I love this phone. I have gotten rid of my Palm, b/c this phone does everything for me except scratch my back, and I'm sure someone will come up with an application for that soon enough.

    Happy Birthday to crackberry.com

Same deal but I hesitated past the initial $0 offer until a friend of mine got one. My Dad bought a Nokia piece of garbage and I was worried that I might saddle myself with a crappy phone and 3 year contract.
Fortunately I love it!! And the unlimited email is great. (Data plans are terrible in Canada!)

    Cheers!

    Tabby,

When I first started with it, I was tres nonplussed. I told my GF that I had just gotten sunk into a 2 year deal with a shiny piece of isht.

    But I stayed determined.

Now I am really happy with this thing. I too, have hucked the Palm.

    This thing is badace.

I agree, they really suck. I love the fact that I am able to do the unlimited e-mail and text messaging and PIN messaging but getting online scares the **** out of me on my phone because of the cost. It is brutal! Whether the loonie is better or not!
