I love Google maps with the "my location" feature, but its still not the real deal. even though it sees where you are driving while following the map, it doesn't prompt you to turn as it sees you approach the next direction change.
A friend of mine has a BB world phone and it has "Navigator" which is real GPS but supposedly it is not available for the pearl. Does anyone know how to get Real GPS navigation on a telus 8130?
Yes, Google Maps does not support Voice Turn-by-Turn directions. VZ Navigator is a robust full GPS NAV app with Voice Turn-by-Turn, but also a Verizon-only app. You could look into apps such as TeleNav, not sure off hand of other reputable ones. I'm sure other Telus folks can give some good personal experience recommendations.
