Hey all

i have verizon and i have heard their player is different. I can seem to find any conversion program that works here is what i have tried

Blackberry video converter
superc
mediacoder
videora ipod converter
mobiola pro

.mp4 - 260:240 ? ACC -
.3gp - 260:240 384k

file size tried two one 95mb and 225mb


It usually will not even show up. one time it did but then it loaded the file and wouldn't start it had all the right info but press play and it would flash the backlight and nothing. I wish there was an easy program that workes for the 8130 and has the correct settings for verizon media files. Please any help would be great.

Settings that I use for Mobiola and the Pearl are:

File format: 3gp
Width: 320
Height: 240
Video
Codec: mpeg4
Bitrate: 300
FPS: 24
Audio
Codec: aac
Bitrate: 96
Frequency: 16000
Stereo box checked.

use the roxio media manager that comes in the box with the desktop manager... converts everything FOR you

It's bundled in with DM 4.3 on the disc you received in the box.

Also if you don't like Roxio Media Manager the guy at videos4blackberry.info tells what program he uses and what settings he uses also. I'm not allowed to post urls yet but just go to the news section and the date is Friday, 21 December 2007 and the title is What I Use for Videos...

the video tab is disabled on my Roxio media manager. very frustrating
