    Need a little help with my 8130. I've had a few instances recently, when I dial someone, the call will connect and nothing happens. I then have to hard reset to get it to work again. It currently v4.3.0.97 on it. Any thoughts?

    Do you mean that you just get dead air?? Can the callers hear you, but you can't hear them? This is a known issue with the Verizon Curve.

    I get dead air, the person I'm calling gets dead air as far as I know.

    Find out for sure. Again, this is a known issue... That is, what I mentioned above.

    Also, did you try a battery pull?

    I've had to pull the battery each time it happens. From what they are saying, they don't hear me either.

    I would take the device back to Verizon - sounds like a hardware issue to me.

    I have the same problem with my pearl and I have to press the voice dial button on the side to initialize voice dialing then exit that and call them again. Sometimes I have to do that twice inorder for me to hear them
