I just got my first BB, an 8110 brand new about 3 weeks ago, when I went to youtube and tried to watch a video I get an error message saying "The protocol specified is not supported by the handheld. Please try a different URL" Is it my phone, or do I need to access a different site? Can anyone help me? I might add that I can watch videos that I made myself just not the ones from youtube.

Try blueapple.mobi instead.

blueapple.mobi works great, thanks for the tip. Thats a little weird that youtube won't work but blueapple.mobi will. is there nothing that can be done to watch youtube?

Ok, now I see how it works, you can actually go to youtoube through blueapple.mobi.......... cool

OS 4.3+ has support for YouTube.

Are you going to youtube.com or m.youtube.com? Try whichever one you haven't gone to. And make sure that the emulation mode in the browser options is set to BlackBerry.

blue mobi works by saving it to your micro sd card....but my question is how do you get to youtube through blue mobi?

just upgraded to the newest os and it now works!!

I am on o2 in the uk and it said before the clip loaded that I should upgrade to an allinclusive data plan? I am on bb unlimited, does this cover me or am I going to get a horrible shock come the end of the month?
