My Blackberry Pearl's gold charging prong is loose. I had to buy a stand-up charger stand since the prong shimmies out of the plastic when using the direct charger. If I go to Sprint and order a new phone, they will probably give me a nasty refurbished model. This phone I have is like a week old! The girl said I could either get a new or refurbished model, it's just random.
*Sigh* I don't need to use that port anymore but I hate having something wrong with my phone that is brand new. Could I fix this little prong myself? What should I do?

If the phone is only a week old, you should be able to get a new one out of the box. That's what they did with a Treo I had that wasnt right and was new.
