my phone will not charge i have tried plugging it into my car charger, the wall charger and even an adapter to plug my wall charger into the car and it still will not charge. the phone is completely dead and the radio is off. this is very new and a random problem. i haven't had any other problems and i checked there is no water damage and i havn't dropped it recently enough for anything to happen because of a drop. something is wrong with the charge port please HELP!!!! im in a band and on tour right now without a phone and it sucks alot.

Probably inside of phone where you plug in charger is corroded since it is exposed. Take by your carrier and they have a solution to spray in there to clean out.

That happened to me, once.

It would not take a charge, even with the AC charger.

I took it back to the carrier and she swapped the battery. Started up just fine. Replaced my original battery and it took a charge.

I suspect real solution was re-seating the battery.

Remove the battery, inspect the four Gold contacts for contimination. Use a pink rubber eraser to clean them is needed. Inspect the four contact pins in the device, they should all be evenly aligned.

Replace the battery, hope it works for you.

it's possible there's a problem with the charging port on the phone or the battery. either way, i would take it to verizon and have them take a look at it.
