I have the pearl 8100 for 3 years now and wanted to update to the 8130. Anyone out there advice this or should I just stick with my old 8100?

Wait. Given that the Pearl 9100 should be coming out soon (hopefully), I'd wait:

3G, Trackpad, all in the Pearl package.

And you can't upgrade to the 8130 as it is CDMA and you have a GSM provider: AT&T.

You'd look at the 8110 or 8120 (depending if you wanted GPS or WiFi)

But again, I'd honestly wait if you can..

I stick it until the 9100 releases if you're looking for a similar form-factor with a lot more power (8100 series not slated for 5.0 OS) or switch to a different device altogether.

Wait, or go for a Curve 2... or Peral Flip now. The 8130 is not the greatest for memory, and has plenty of other issues.

The 8130 will not work on att. And it is almost as old as the 8100. I don't think you can even buy them new through the carrier anymore.
