After having an issue with Google Calendar not syncing wirelessly with my 8130 (it would sync, but no events would be added, despite the settings being correct), I performed a hard reset. This fixed the sync issue with Google. However, when I attempted to re-sync my contacts, it would not. The system runs through the sync procedure (the windows shows reading address book) and notes the number to be synced, but it never adds them. The system is set to one-way sync from Outlook to the BB. The log shows:

And in typical try something before you post fashion, I went into Backup--Advanced and cleared the memory from the Address Book. It did the trick.

Hopefully this will help others in the same situation.
