I have an 8120 on AT&T with a BES. I also have a Yahoo account. But, the Yahoo account doesn't push, or even sync, 100% of the time. In other words, I'll get a Yahoo e-mail that does not show up on my Blackberry but does show up on my desktop.

I'm wondering, is Gmail or something else more reliable?

Maybe gmail is better. I should clarify my ambiguous sentence. Yahoo pushes, but for me, only 98% of the time.

I have both Yahoo and Gmail accounts pushed to my Berry and get my messages almost instantly...

I have Yahoo! and it is flawless, however I should mention I pay the premium annual price to be able to sync it with Outlook. That may have a difference.

Also seems the freebies I set up at mail.com work really good. Use them as temps

Live mail from MS works fairly well. I have it working on my berry with no issues.
