Hi Guys. New to the forum and my 8130. I have a partially numeric password for my on-line banking. When entering the password I am in multi tap and hold shift but it still types the letter. Anyone know what is wrong? When I shift the icon changes from abc to 123.

I don't have my Pearl handy, and I always had SureType on, but I think it would be Alt then the key.

Oops sorry. It is the alt key I'm using not shift and it's not working.

I never use multi tap on my Pearl, but Chaz is right about suretype. If I read you original post correctly, you are holding the alt key while typing the number. As Chaz says you need to hit and release the alt key then hit the number, at least in suretype.
