Is there a way to view normal keypad letters ie. having one display on the screen while on a call. It seems like a person can't reach a human when calling any service number and all entries must be made via keypad. Is there a way to know what letters belong on what keypad without memorizing a normal phone.

If the question isn't clear, I called a number today and had to type in a persons last name to find their number in a directory...couldn't do it!

Oh, it seems you can do just that, but even easier than looking at a chart!

Just press the ALT key and dial the LETTERS of the name.

For example: dial "1 8 0 0 (alt) C O N T A C T S", and your BB will interpret the numbers needed and dial correctly.
