I've purchased a Nokia SH-503 (ugly looking good product?) headset to replace my Motoroloa S9 (nice looking very bad product). When trying to pair with my 8130, the headset only identifies itself as a handset (I need it to admit to being an A/V remote & audio sink), and clearly doesn't participate properly in the intro protocol (BB is left waiting indefinitely for some additional 'response from device')... I have contradictory compatibility info.

Do I need to upgrade my BB SW?
(my carrier -TELUS, Cdn, CDMA- recently remote-updated me v4.3.0.65/platform 3.1.0.34. Bluetooth is Micro Edition v1.1)

Am I SOL? Do I return this headset too?

I'd appreciate any help/suggestions.

In case anyone else has the same proplem, upgrade OS to 4.5
