Hi i had my blackberry for about a week now.. and it's GREAT!! but one problem i have iz that on my main screen, it shows a num and the up arrow. on the right corner of the screen. i do not know how to get rid of that.. so can anyone help me? thank you.

If it's a number followed by a little yellow thing with a pointy red star along the top edge, it tells how many unread messages you have. The yellow thing is meant to look like an envelope. Maybe that's what you're mistaking for an arrow. Go to messages and see it you have some. There is also a similar notification for Facebook messages.

it means your number lock is on.
go into any message and click the shift key and it should go off.
