Has no one here loaded up OS 4.3.0.127 on their 8130 Pearl? I have it loaded on my Telus phone. No changes from what I can tell. I'm wondering if anyone else has loaded it and noticed anything.
*** Mod Edit: A backup needs to be done before this is loaded of course. Some people that are on BIS have complained that it deleted all their contacts and calendar. They didn't backup their handset before hand.
The upgrade can be found at Sprint PCS Software: Sprint PCS Connection Manager Software from Sprint. Under operating system select Blackberry and then select download. Run the install and the next time you hook up to the device manager it will tell you there is an upgrade. It may take a little over 40 minutes to install. ***

Reason: Stickied and added info to OP
I loaded it as well with no issues. Not much of an increase of available memory, but as others have said hopefully it will fix the memory leaking issue.
Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com
I used to have the software that I received with the phone (8130) back in January and I just now updated to the latest that Verizon offers on their site.
So far I can tell that the one fix I wanted most has arrived: the removal of the "standby confirmation," in which you have to press the standby key and then click over to "OK" to confirm standby mode. Now you just press the button and it goes right into standby with a second-long confirmation message stating "Entering standby mode. Press the mute key again to exit standby mode."
Other changes I've noticed were the font for the Incoming/Outgoing call display, and fonts for the media player.
And there is more space, which I don't really understand unless they did a clean sweep of their software.
I think they revised the code and got rid of a lot of the redundant process calls. Thus making the code smaller and leaving more memory for the operator to use.
On the old version, when I would delete an email, it would ask "On Device, Mailbox, or Both". Now it doesn't ask.
That's a setting. Go to your messages screen and hit the BlackBerry key. Select "Options" then "Email Reconciliation". There you can change the settings for each mailbox. I just checked and Prompt is still an option and it still worked on the one mailbox I had it set that way for.
Anybody know why the Roxio Media Manager cannot access my device since I updated? That's the only issue so far. I'm loving the greater memory and I seem to be getting longer battery life but it's still early after the update process.
