Hi there
When i get a new email a copy goes into both folders on the home screen of my 8110: my "email" folder and also my "messages" folder. So when I get an alert saying i have one new email and one new message, it is merely the same but replicated. Can I keep my emails in my "email" folder only and save my "messages" for SMS/messenger only?
Have I missed the point?
New to Blackberry.

You can separate your SMS and emails. That will give you another inbox for SMS in addition to the email and Messages boxes you have now. By design, all messages including emails go to the Messages folder. You can't stop that. But you only have to delete them in one place, not both. There really is just one message, so you're not wasting space. Some people hide the Messages folder. Others hide the other inboxes and just use Messages as a one-stop message center. It's your choice.
